The Maxwell Reserve is a masterpiece by the world renowned French Designer Jacques Garcia and houses Singapore’s most important museum quality collection of 200 original land indentures dating back to 1709. It is set in a block of heritage shophouses in Singapore’s buzzing and vibrant downtown district of Tanjong Pagar and has been beautifully and meticulously restored to its original grandeur. Each of the hotel’s 138 guest rooms and suites are carefully decorated with hand- crafted European custom furnishings and original photography. The Maxwell Reserve is a food and beverage centric hotel offering a multitude of concept restaurants and bars, complementing other in- house facilities such as an outdoor rooftop lap pool and a professional gym. (meaning “to hunt” in Hindi) is inspired by the grand old feasts of Indian Royals with a menu that explores progressive ideas in Indian cuisine while maintaining traditional integrity. With intrigue & inspiration of such luxurious, glamorous lifestyles and varied culinary legacies of regal India, at Shikar, celebrated Chef Jolly reinterprets nostalgic Indian dishes with an openness towards global techniques and influences offering local Singaporeans and other visiting guests a look back to these regal days through a modern day’s lens.
Cultivate Cafe
A plant-based, GMO-free, gluten-free vegan restaurant is born from the concept of informing and inspiring the cultural shift towards plant-based intelligence, through creativity and deliciousness. Isabel
Isabel, the hotel’s signature Bar offers timeless elegance, luxury, glamor and intimacy. This venue serves a selection of the best hand-picked wines and champagnes, spirits and liquors from far and wide, including tonics and elixirs. The outlet also offers afternoon tea that is perfect for chic celebrations. Featuring a Tea leaf selection exclusively curated to flow along with the flavors from sweet pastries to savoury finger sandwiches and English scones, served with clotted cream and preserves and finished with an exclusive selection of Beluga caviar and a shot of vodka.
Officers' Mess Polo Bar
The Officer’s Mess Polo Bar transports you into another world where the grandeur and sophistication of Polo transcends into conversation flowing over crystal stemware and deep armchairs clad in military uniforms. Oak panelled walls and African ebony floors are complemented majestically with a saddle leather bar and a hand painted polo scene from the 1930’s depicting a match at Guards Polo Club in Windsor (UK) between Royal Patiala and the British Army. At its heart, the dining venue is a steak restaurant featuring some of the world’s finest prime grade cuts of meats and seafood. From lobster, crab-cakes, and the signature $75 Polo burger to a succulent selection of grass-fed beef and delectable sides, the menu delivers variety and the incredible authenticity of a classic fine dining experience.
Rose Room
A 14-seat boardroom with natural daylight and doors leading to the alfresco terrace. The room is equipped with audio visual capabilities for private meetings. The Rose Room is available as a private meeting or event space.

Private Dining Room – At Shikar, experience a Chef’s tasting menu or organize a get- together among family, friends and business partners. Comfortably seats up to 12 guests.

How to get there
From Singapore Changi Airport, it is a 20-minute taxi ride to the hotel. Alternatively, take the train on the East West line from Changi Airport, transfer at Tanah Merah and continue to Tanjong Pagar Station. Take Exit A. It is an 8-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station to the hotel.
